Delicious lemon brownies topped with a sweet lemon glaze.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, melt the butter and mix with sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in lemon zest and lemon juice.
- Mix in flour and salt until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While brownies are cooling, prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar and lemon juice.
- Spread the glaze over cooled brownies and let it set before cutting.
Notes
- Store brownies in an airtight container.
- For extra lemon flavor, add more lemon zest.
- These brownies freeze well for up to 3 months.
