A classic lasagna recipe with layers of pasta, meat, cheese, and sauce.
Ingredients

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- In a pan, brown ground beef over medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Add half of the ricotta mixture, half of the ground beef, and a layer of mozzarella.
- Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles and marinara sauce on top.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes until bubbly.
Notes
- Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before serving.
- You can add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
