Description

Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a pan, brown ground beef over medium heat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce.
  7. Add half of the ricotta mixture, half of the ground beef, and a layer of mozzarella.
  8. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles and marinara sauce on top.
  9. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 45 minutes until bubbly.

Notes

  • Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before serving.
  • You can add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms if desired.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
