Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions.
  3. In a skillet, brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
  4. Add marinara sauce to the beef mixture and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread a layer of meat sauce in a baking dish.
  7. Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
  8. Repeat layers, finishing with meat sauce and mozzarella cheese on top.
  9. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  10. Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly.
  11. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
