Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  4. Mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Spread some marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Layer 4 noodles over the sauce.
  7. Spread half the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
  8. Add half the ground beef and a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  9. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles and remaining marinara sauce on top.
  10. Sprinkle Parmesan and remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  11. Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  12. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
