Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups dashi broth
  • 1 cup mochi (rice cakes)
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup daikon radish, sliced
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 green onion, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare dashi broth in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced carrots and daikon radish to the broth.
  3. Simmer until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
  4. Add mochi and cook until it softens.
  5. Stir in spinach and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Add soy sauce and mirin, stirring well.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onion.
