Ingredients
- Hard-boiled eggs: 6 large eggs
- Cream cheese: 4 oz softened
- Fresh jalapenos: 2 finely chopped
- Cheddar cheese: 1/2 cup shredded
- Cooked bacon: 4 slices crumbled
- Garlic powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika: 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Boil the eggs by placing them in a pot, covering with cold water, bringing to a boil, then letting sit covered for 12-15 minutes.
- Transfer the eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes, then peel and slice in half lengthwise.
- Prepare the jalapenos by washing, slicing in half, removing seeds and membranes, and finely chopping.
- In a mixing bowl, combine egg yolks, cream cheese, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, bacon, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth.
- Fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture, garnish with paprika and jalapeno slices, and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
