A festive Italian Thanksgiving dinner featuring traditional dishes.
Ingredients

- 1 turkey (12-14 lbs)
- 2 cups bread crumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 cups chopped vegetables (carrots, celery, onion)
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme) for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the turkey by cleaning and patting it dry.
- In a bowl, mix bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, chopped vegetables, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the turkey with the mixture.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it.
- Cover with foil and roast for 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the turkey.
- Let it rest before carving and serve with fresh herbs.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Use leftover stuffing for side dishes.
- Serve with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans.
