Description

Ingredients

  • 1 turkey (12-14 lbs)
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 cups chopped vegetables (carrots, celery, onion)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the turkey by cleaning and patting it dry.
  3. In a bowl, mix bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, chopped vegetables, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the turkey with the mixture.
  5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth around it.
  6. Cover with foil and roast for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  7. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the turkey.
  8. Let it rest before carving and serve with fresh herbs.
