Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, and cooked pasta. Mix well.
- Add mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Top with additional mozzarella if desired.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.

- This dish can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra flavor.
