Instructions

- Knead the dough until smooth, then wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- In another bowl, combine ground nuts, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
- Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread the nut mixture evenly over the dough.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and seal the edges.
- Brush the roll with beaten egg.
- Cut into slices and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
