This irresistible pistachio tart features a creamy pistachio paste filling that is rich and flavorful.


Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made tart shell
  • 1 cup pistachios, shelled
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a food processor, blend pistachios until finely ground.
  3. In a bowl, mix ground pistachios, sugar, melted butter, and salt.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of the tart shell.
  5. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  6. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream and vanilla until warm.
  7. Mix in the remaining pistachios and stir until smooth.
  8. Pour the creamy pistachio mixture into the cooled tart shell.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
