Ingredients

  • 1 cup pistachio paste

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, powdered sugar, egg yolk, and salt until a dough forms.
  3. Press the dough into a tart pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  4. In another bowl, combine pistachio paste, heavy cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the mixture into the baked crust and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  7. Let it cool, then top with chopped pistachios.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
