Ingredients

- 2 cups basmati rice
- 1 cup lentils
- 1 cup mixed vegetables
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds

- 2 tomatoes, chopped

- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Rinse the basmati rice and lentils until water runs clear.
- Heat ghee in a pot and add cumin seeds.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add tomatoes and mixed vegetables; cook until soft.
- Stir in rice and lentils, then add water and salt.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover.
- Cook for 20 minutes or until rice and lentils are tender.
- Fluff with a fork before serving.
