Ingredients

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, 1/4 cup ketchup, onion, eggs, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and 1/4 cup ketchup. Spread this mixture over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
- Feel free to add your favorite herbs or spices.
- Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans for a complete meal.
