Description
This homemade rough puff pastry dough is easy to make and perfect for pastries and pies.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
- 1/2 cup cold water
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour and salt.
- Add diced butter and mix until crumbly.
- Pour in cold water gradually, mixing until dough forms.
- Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Fold the dough into thirds and roll again.
- Repeat the folding and rolling process two more times.
- Chill the dough for another 30 minutes before using.
Notes
- Keep the butter cold for best results.
- Use a light touch when rolling the dough.
- Store any leftover dough in the fridge for up to 3 days.
