- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces mozzarella cheese sticks
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Cut mozzarella sticks in half.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Dip each mozzarella stick in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
- Freeze the breaded sticks for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the sticks until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add garlic powder to the breadcrumbs.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
