- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together oil, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour batter into lined cupcake tins, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cupcakes cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.
- For extra moisture, add a tablespoon of sour cream to the batter.
