Ingredients

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Layer 3 lasagna noodles, half the ricotta mixture, and half the ground beef.
  7. Add another layer of sauce, 3 more noodles, the remaining ricotta, and the remaining beef.
  8. Top with the last 3 noodles, remaining sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  10. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
