A classic homemade lasagna recipe with layers of pasta, meat, and cheese.
Ingredients

- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 3 lasagna noodles, half the ricotta mixture, and half the ground beef.
- Add another layer of sauce, 3 more noodles, the remaining ricotta, and the remaining beef.
- Top with the last 3 noodles, remaining sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for more flavor.
- Let leftovers cool before storing.
- Can be frozen for later use.
