- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon sage
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add celery and onion, cooking until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, cooked vegetables, broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in beaten eggs until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.

- Use stale bread for better texture.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
