A comforting homemade chicken noodle soup made in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups celery, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cups egg noodles
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Add chicken, broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, parsley, and pepper to the crockpot.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  3. Remove the chicken and shred it, then return it to the crockpot.
  4. Add egg noodles and cook for an additional 30 minutes on high.
  5. Season with salt to taste before serving.

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
