A simple and delicious homemade stuffing recipe for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 1 loaf of bread, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onion and celery; sauté until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in chicken broth and mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
Notes
- Use day-old bread for better texture.
- Feel free to add nuts or dried fruits for extra flavor.
