A delicious chocolate loaf cake with a hidden heart inside.
Ingredients

- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup red velvet cake batter (for hidden heart)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs, milk, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Pour half of the chocolate batter into the loaf pan.
- Add spoonfuls of red velvet cake batter in the center.
- Cover with remaining chocolate batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing.
- Check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Decorate with chocolate glaze if desired.
