Ingredients
- Ground beef: 1 lb (450 g)
- Onion: 1 medium onion, diced
- Garlic: 3 cloves, minced
- Bell peppers: 2 (1 red, 1 green), diced
- Diced tomatoes: 1 can (14.5 oz or 400 g)
- Kidney beans: 1 can (15 oz or 425 g), drained and rinsed
- Chili powder: 2 tablespoons
- Cumin: 1 teaspoon
- Salt and pepper: to taste
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients by washing and dicing the vegetables.
- In a large pot, heat olive oil and brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes.
- Add diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes, then add minced garlic for 1 minute.
- Stir in diced bell peppers and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
