Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup raisins or chocolate chips
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix honey (or syrup), applesauce, and melted coconut oil.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until well mixed.
- Fold in raisins or chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- These cookies can be frozen for later use.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey or syrup.
