Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup raisins or chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix honey (or syrup), applesauce, and melted coconut oil.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until well mixed.
  5. Fold in raisins or chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden.
  8. Let cool before serving.
