Description
A healthy recipe for chickpea patties made in an air fryer.
Ingredients

- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mash the chickpeas with a fork or potato masher.
- Add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to the mashed chickpeas.
- Mix until well combined.
- Form mixture into small patties.
- Brush patties with olive oil.
- Place patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Remove and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve with yogurt or a dipping sauce.
- Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Freezing is an option for longer storage.
