  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Remove the patties and set aside.
  6. Add sliced onion to the same pan and sauté until soft.
  7. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring to combine.
  8. Reduce heat and add heavy cream, mixing well.
  9. Return the patties to the pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
  10. Serve hot with gravy on top.
