- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 potatoes, cubed
- 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until soft.
- Stir in the potatoes, diced tomatoes, beef broth, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add Worcestershire sauce.
- Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
