  • 1/2 cup diced jalapenos

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
  4. Let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
  5. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll them into ropes.
  6. Stuff each rope with ham, Swiss cheese, and jalapenos. Twist and shape into pretzel form.
  7. Boil water with baking soda. Dip each pretzel in the boiling water for 30 seconds.
  8. Place pretzels on a baking sheet, brush with beaten egg, and sprinkle with salt.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
