These Halloween Skeleton Cookies are fun and easy to make. They are perfect for parties or as treats for kids.
Ingredients

- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- White icing for decoration
- Chocolate chips for eyes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg and extracts to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Use a skeleton-shaped cookie cutter to cut out cookies.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool completely.
- Decorate with icing and chocolate chips for eyes.
