Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef and onions in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  2. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add flour, salt, and pepper to the skillet; stir to combine.
  4. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Prepare mashed potatoes by boiling potatoes until tender.
  6. Drain potatoes and mash with butter and milk until fluffy.
  7. Serve the beef gravy over the mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add garlic powder to the beef mixture.
