Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the flour and whisk until combined.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until the mixture is lightly golden.
- Gradually whisk in the vegetable broth.
- Add soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir occasionally until thickened.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat on the stove, adding water if needed to thin.
- This gravy pairs well with mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
