Delicious rum balls inspired by grandma’s recipe.
Ingredients

- 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
- 1 cup finely chopped nuts
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup dark rum
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- Additional powdered sugar for coating
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine crushed vanilla wafers, chopped nuts, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
- Add dark rum and corn syrup to the mixture.
- Mix until well combined.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Coat each ball in powdered sugar.
- Place the rum balls on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Allow the rum balls to sit for a day for better flavor.
