Description

A sweet and unique jelly made from dandelion flowers.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups dandelion flowers
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 package fruit pectin
  • 5 cups granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Wash dandelion flowers and remove green parts.
  2. Boil flowers in water for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the liquid to obtain dandelion tea.
  4. Add lemon juice and pectin to the tea.
  5. Bring to a boil and stir in sugar.
  6. Boil for 1 minute until sugar dissolves.
  7. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
  8. Let cool and store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Use only the yellow petals for best flavor.
  • Store in a cool, dark place.
  • Can be used as a topping for toast or desserts.
