Description
A sweet and unique jelly made from dandelion flowers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups dandelion flowers
- 4 cups water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 package fruit pectin
- 5 cups granulated sugar
Instructions
- Wash dandelion flowers and remove green parts.
- Boil flowers in water for 10 minutes.
- Strain the liquid to obtain dandelion tea.
- Add lemon juice and pectin to the tea.
- Bring to a boil and stir in sugar.
- Boil for 1 minute until sugar dissolves.
- Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
- Let cool and store in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Use only the yellow petals for best flavor.
- Store in a cool, dark place.
- Can be used as a topping for toast or desserts.
