Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar.
  4. Add eggs and pumpkin puree to the butter mixture.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

  • Can substitute walnuts with pecans.
  • Serve with whipped cream for extra flavor.
