Crispy chicken served with a rich parmesan mushroom sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  5. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté mushrooms until soft.
  6. Add heavy cream and stir until combined.
  7. Serve chicken topped with mushroom sauce and garnish with parsley.

  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Use fresh mushrooms for better flavor.
