Description

This is a classic German potato pancakes recipe, also known as Kartoffelpuffer.


Ingredients

  • 2 eggs

  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Grate the potatoes and onion into a bowl.
  2. Drain excess moisture from the grated potatoes.
  3. Add eggs, flour, salt, and pepper to the potato mixture.
  4. Mix until well combined.
  5. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Scoop the mixture into the skillet and flatten it into pancakes.
  7. Fry until golden brown on both sides.
  8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
