  • Ground cloves: 1 teaspoon (2 g)
  • Egg: 1 large
  • Powdered sugar: 1 cup (120 g)
  • Water: 2 tablespoons (30 ml)

Instructions

  1. Gather all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
  2. Heat honey until warm, then mix with the dry ingredients and egg to form a dough. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and roll out the chilled dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into shapes.
  4. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on wire rack.
  5. Mix powdered sugar with water to create a glaze and decorate cooled cookies.
