Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Brown the beef on all sides.
- Add chopped onions and cook until translucent.
- Add carrots and potatoes to the pot.
- Pour in the beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.
- Add mustard, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot with bread or dumplings.
