  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl.
  3. Press mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add granulated sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  6. Incorporate eggs one at a time.
  7. Stir in sour cream and chocolate chips.
  8. Pour batter over the crust.
  9. Bake for 60 minutes until set.
  10. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  11. In a saucepan, combine coconut, pecans, brown sugar, and a bit of water. Cook until thick.
  12. Spread topping over the cheesecake before serving.
