Delicious Georgia peach cobbler made with fresh peaches and a flaky crust.
Ingredients

- 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine sliced peaches, 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup flour, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix milk, 1 cup flour, melted butter, baking powder, and 1 cup sugar until smooth.
- Pour the batter over the peaches in the baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Use ripe peaches for the best flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
