- 2 pounds potatoes
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks.
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
- Add the garlic, butter, milk, and parmesan cheese to the potatoes.
- Mash until smooth and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
- For extra creaminess, use heavy cream instead of milk.
- Adjust the amount of garlic according to your taste.
- Garnish with extra parmesan before serving.
