Description
A deliciously cheesy sandwich with garlic and mushrooms.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 slices of bread
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan.
- Add garlic and mushrooms; sauté until mushrooms are soft.
- Remove mushrooms from the pan.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice in the pan, butter side down.
- Add half of the cheese, mushrooms, and remaining cheese.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
- Remove from pan, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use any cheese of your choice.
- Add herbs for extra flavor.
- Serve with a side of soup for a complete meal.
