Description

A deliciously cheesy sandwich with garlic and mushrooms.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan.
  2. Add garlic and mushrooms; sauté until mushrooms are soft.
  3. Remove mushrooms from the pan.
  4. Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  5. Place one slice in the pan, butter side down.
  6. Add half of the cheese, mushrooms, and remaining cheese.
  7. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  8. Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  9. Remove from pan, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use any cheese of your choice.
  • Add herbs for extra flavor.
