Ingredients

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups water
  • Salt to taste

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add rice and a pinch of salt. Lower the heat and cover. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until rice is tender.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in lemon juice.
  7. Serve the shrimp over the cooked rice and garnish with parsley.
