  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Butter: 100 grams (7 tablespoons)
  • Fresh parsley: 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Parmesan cheese: 50 grams, grated (about 1/2 cup)
  • Salt: to taste
  • Pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and slightly golden.
  3. Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Gradually add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
