Ingredients
- Spaghetti: 400 grams (14 oz)
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Butter: 100 grams (7 tablespoons)

Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant and slightly golden.
- Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Gradually add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
- Serve the pasta in a nest shape on plates, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley. Optionally, add red pepper flakes for heat.
Notes
- Experiment with different pasta shapes like fettuccine or penne.
- For a vegan version, substitute butter with vegan butter or olive oil and skip the Parmesan cheese.
- Consider adding proteins like shrimp or chicken, or vegetables like spinach or cherry tomatoes for added nutrition.
