- 1 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Coat the chicken wing flats in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry the chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine honey, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Heat gently until combined.
- Drizzle the honey lemon pepper sauce over the fried wings.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
