Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 8 corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup salsa
Instructions
- Preheat oil in a deep pan to 350°F.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip shrimp in buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Fry shrimp in hot oil until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Warm corn tortillas in a separate pan.
- Assemble tacos with shrimp, cabbage, avocado, and salsa.
