Description

Delicious sausage rolls with a French onion twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage meat
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 1 egg, beaten for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion until soft.
  3. Add the thyme and sausage meat, cooking until browned.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into rectangles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on each rectangle.
  6. Fold the pastry over and seal the edges.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
