Delicious sausage rolls with a French onion twist.
Ingredients

- 1 pound sausage meat
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 egg, beaten for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onion until soft.
- Add the thyme and sausage meat, cooking until browned.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on each rectangle.
- Fold the pastry over and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
