Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Transfer meatballs to a baking dish.
- In the skillet, add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, bring to a simmer.
- Pour the sauce over the meatballs.
- Sprinkle Gruyere cheese on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.
