Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup almond paste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sliced almonds for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
  3. Add chilled butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Press the mixture into a tart pan.
  5. In another bowl, combine almond paste, egg, and vanilla.
  6. Spread the almond mixture over the crust.
  7. Sprinkle sliced almonds on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool before serving.
