Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan, egg, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper, and parsley.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Form mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  7. In a saucepan, heat barbecue sauce over medium heat.
  8. Add baked meatballs to the sauce and stir to coat.
  9. Serve hot.
