Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup calamansi juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup sautéed vegetables (carrots, peas, and corn)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Marinate the turkey in soy sauce, calamansi juice, garlic, onion, salt, and pepper for at least 4 hours.
  3. Stuff the turkey with cooked rice and sautéed vegetables.
  4. Rub butter all over the turkey.
  5. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
  6. Roast for 2-3 hours, removing the foil for the last 30 minutes to brown the skin.
  7. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
  8. Serve with additional sautéed vegetables and rice.
